Trekking along the "Loch" in the Morbihan Gulf

The Morbihan Gulf, situated in Brittany, near the town of Auray, South of Brest offers wonderful trekking along the coast.

You can hike for days along the beaches and the coast enjoying wonderful views, pretty villages and beautiful towns.

We suggest just a very easy and short walk starting from the pretty and touristy town of Auray.

The walk starts at Port de St Goustan along the Loch, the river ending in the Gulf of Mobihan.

It is a short walk, long only 3,5 km but it offers good views along the river and ends in the beautiful village of Le Bono, that is certainly worth a visit.

After having visited Port de St Goustan and the town of Auray you will follow the river keeping the water on your right and walking South.

The path leaves the town and runs along the water offering wonderful views towards the fields some beautiful villas.

Finally the path reaches the village of Le Bono from where, after enjoyed some rest at its beautiful harbour, you can walk back towards Auray.

Enjoy the photos taken along the path and plan your walk in the gulf of Morbihan.

The beautiful harbour at Auray. The walk starts from the Port de St Goustan on the left side of the river Loch.

Another great view of Auray.
